Library Rules

1. Silence is to be observed in the library.
2. Books are to be carefully handled and returned to the librarian.
3. All markings, underlining or defacing of books by any means should be avoided.
4. A student can borrow only one book at a time.
5. If the book is lost, the student has to pay the price of the book.
6. Students will not be allowed to enter the library with their books or bags.
7. All the members of the staff and students are expected to use the school library regularly.
8. Examine the book while borrowing and report to the librarian any damage, missing pages or pictures before leaving the library.
9. The person in whose name the library card is issued will be held responsible for all books drawn thereon.
10. Reference book shall not be taken out of the library.
11. All library books and cards should be returned before the end of February every year. Clearances from the library are required for applying for transfer certificate.
12. STRICT DISCIPLINE AND SILENCE SHOULD BE MAINTAINED IN THE LIBRARY.
